Dodie Thayer For Tory Burch

Last year Tory Burch beautifully reinterpreted American sponge ware table top pieces with great success. This year the Tory Burch Home line created a new collection with renowned artist Dodie Thayer. It was Tory's long time vision and goal to bring new life to the Palm Beach artist's classic lettuce ware table top pieces.

Tory Burch on Dodie Thayer: "She taught herself how to mold pottery from lettuce and cabbage leaves. Legendary hostesses from C.Z. Guest and the Duchess of Windsor to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis collected her signature lettuce ware - and to this day when pieces come up at auction, they are gone within minutes.  Creating this new collection with Dodie and her family has been a fantastic experience."

    Sue I love this collaboration, The double twined handles on the cups and the tureens are incredible!! I hear Tory will even have a gorgeous candle out soon in a leaf patterned holder.
