Home Tour: City Chic in The Country

The other day I paid a visit to my good friend Michele's beautiful home in Pound Ridge, New York.  A charming country house on the outside (with it's own history-it was rumored to be a local speak easy)-once inside there's a surprisingly hip urban vibe.

Michele has such great taste that I couldn't resist snapping a full home tour on my phone. A former stylist in New York City and current jewelry designer- we first met about nine years ago when our kids were in pre-school together.  What's interesting to me is the way that Michele was way ahead of every cool design trend - as her house looks almost exactly the same today as when our kids went to school together.  The house is perfect, but I think my friend might be ready for a new design challenge-if this home goes on the market I'll be sure to let you know!
