Back in November, Nicole Cohen was here photographing our guest bath for the One Room Challenge reveal. While she was here, I'd asked Nicole to also shoot the little sitting area attached to our Master Bedroom. Since there's no natural light, it's a tough room for me to capture on my own. The lack of windows in this spot really bothered me when we first came to look at this house a few years ago...
Fast forward to today and it's now one of my favorite spaces in the house. The area is a cozy little nook and a great place to read or relax. Adding the large mirror on the far wall helped to capture some light from the other room - which is our actual bedroom. With the help of Muse Interiors, we installed a pretty and practical built-in console in the small recess of the larger wall. We used some of our previous home's living room furniture along with a few new pieces (like this table and this print) to warm up the space. I also added two new throw pillows that I had custom made from the Martyn Lawrence Bullard fabric which I originally purchased for the one room challenge.
We're still waiting on a few more pieces (like this chair and possibly a new light or two plus a t.v.) but I thought I'd share this space now that I have these great photos.

This is a beautiful space! If you get the tv and want to let go of the blue art, let me know and I'll zip to NC and pick it up from you. Also that chandelier from Neiman Marcus - what an amazing price!! :)
