Winter is in full force and for most of us this means dry air both inside and out. Throw in a little wind and freezing temps and keeping my skin hydrated can feel like a challenge. Luckily I found a few great products for battling the winter beauty blahs...
1. Tracie Martyn Shakti Face and Body Resculpting Cream: As a huge fan of Tracie Martyn skin care (I've been using her Amla Purifying Cleanser daily for years) I decided to switch up my night time moisturizer with this face cream. I've been using it since November and love it. My face feels and looks significantly less dry.

2. SKII Facial Treatment Mask If you follow me on my Instagram stories or on Snap (@thezhush) then you might've seen me wearing this indulgent, hydrating cotton mask. A recent purchase to counteract the effects of Florida sun, airplane air and then New England cold weather all in one week. I did a little research on this much hyped product and went for one single use mask. Now that I've felt the moisturizing results myself, I went ahead and ordered the full six pack. This should get me through till' spring!
3. Loreal Pure Clay Mask: I can't resist a great drug store beauty buy. This budget friendly mask does exactly what it promises. I've used this two times now and my pores seem a bit smaller, skin feels refreshed. A great way to use this is right before the shower, rinse off in the shower (so much easier, cleaner that way) and then while still in the shower, I follow up with my Clarisonic to make sure it's all off
4. Excipal Daily Protection Hand Cream: Another drug store product and the least glam of the group, but my dermatologist gave me a sample (after I had complained about my dry feet during my twice annual full body skin exam - PSA: everyone should try to schedule one of these at least once a year). I've since bought this lotion on my own now several times. I try to use it every night before bed on both my hands and feet. I hate that dry chapped hand/feet feeling so much! This lotion works!
5.Beachwaver Pro Professional Rotating Curling Iron: This purchase came about after seeing my friend's pretty waves. I'd asked her where she had her hair styled and when she told me she did the waves herself I figured she must be pretty skilled. She assured me she wasn't and went on to explain this product. After checking it out and reading reviews I decided to give it a try. Intimidated a bit at first, I managed to get the wavy look I was going for and not burn my fingers OR my hair!
