Serenbe, Georgia

During my time in Georgia last weekend, we visited the bucolic town of Serenbe. Located 35 miles south of Atlanta in the Chattahoochie Hills, I wish I had more time to explore this charming area. Now that I'm home and trying to describe this unique place to my husband, I decided to see what I could find out online.

Not surprising, Serenbe has it's own informative site. This quote from the New York Times sums it up perfectly - "Serenbe is a utopian experiment in New Urbanism being molded out of Georgia red clay.” Also helpful, were these beautiful images of the homes of Serenbe. Here are some of my favorites.

  1. This looks like such a cute place, oh my goodness! The houses are so sweet, nothing like what we have here in the UK. Love them.
