I was excited to see this apartment featured in the November issue of Elle Decor. I love a classic pre-war New York City apartment, and I've been enamored with the Apthorp, (a legendary building on New York's upper west side) for years!
Composer Jonathan Sheffer recently purchased a unit in the famed Apthorp and brought in his friend designer/architect Robert Couturier, to help re-imagine this beautiful apartment. I'm not a fan of banquettes (not comfortable), but that one is just perfect in that alcove.
