Petite + Chic

One of my readers recently emailed me the following question:

Help! I need a great kiddie table and chairs.
Something that the kids can eat at,
but that looks great and can be in a room in the
house other than the playroom!
What do you suggest?

Having just recently discovered these
adorable pint sized reproductions
of mid-century design classics over at little nest,
I thought I would share my suggestions here.

Right now I am really loving these "little Bert" chairs.
A replica of the 1952 Henry Bertoia chair,
I think these colorful and fun chairs
would work with a variety of decor styles.

When paired with this classic and chic Cygnet table,
(a mini reproduction of the a222 table by Arne Jacobsen),
 the look is just perfect!

Fab post! This is perfect because I'm looking to redo my son's room completely. I like the white armchair (I'd like the proper-sized ones for our lounge...); my son would probably like the white-blue round one! Thanks so much! (to the reader also, for asking such a great question)

  12. I love the little Bert chairs =) That with the table would be perfect for what she is looking for!

I was at Target the other day and there was a "little boys" chair that looked like a formal chair you would sit by a fire and smoke your cigar in .... Bahha, for little boys? No! I totally could fit in it. Now how to get it from IN to WA...
