Giveaway With Studio Eriksdotter

I love to feature talented artists here...
what better way to "zhush" up your life
than with beautiful art?
Which is why I'm so pleased to introduce the
lovely and brilliant Erica Eriksdotter
of Studio Eriksdotter.

Born and raised in Sweden, Erica Eriksdotter's gift
for painting surfaced early in life.
Inspired as a child by her grandfather's talent,
she started working with water colors and
sold her first painting at the age of 10!

Here are some examples of Erica's beautiful work:

“Painting has always been a
creative outlet for me, but lately it is more
than just painting,” she says.
"It is letting go of the fear and allowing
myself to trust my hands and my talent.
Each painting is more than just paint on a canvas,
it is a story and each layer forms
that story for the viewer to enjoy.”

Erica has also come up with a lovely line of stationery,
applying her gorgeous paintings to note cards.
Both Erica's paintings and her note cards can be purchased
online through her Etsy shop.

For a chance to win a set of these gorgeous cards,
please visit Erica's site here
and leave a comment about your favorite painting.
For an extra entry, head over to
her Facebook page and "like" her, here.

And, if you are going to be in the Pittsburgh
area later this week,
you can check out Erica's work in person!

This giveaway will be open all week, until midnight,
Sunday, August 29th.
A winner will be randomly drawn and announced on
Monday, August 30th.

Good Luck!

  41. At 9:22, I'm having a bad opinion day, with my bad hair day! I naturally have opinions, like we do, but I don't trust them at this hour. I will come back, though, and give your friend's art my complete, rested attention. I think what we bloggers have in common is this great desire to put words to images, like painters try to express within their mediums. We are a word obsessed world, and delight in others expressions as well. Thanks for visiting our little nook often. To quote Arnold: "I'll be back!"
    xoxo
