Even though we've been enjoying the most amazing summery temps and sunshine here in Connecticut these past few days, I have winter coats and jackets on my mind. It's just a matter of time before the cold weather sets in for the next several months. Once it does, your coat or jacket essentially becomes your whole "outfit."
Maybe because it's my second year in New England, but I finally broke down and ordered a Barbour jacket for myself (similar to the one above). I plan on wearing this classic piece on weekends and with most of my casual clothes. For fancier moments I've got my eye on a few versatile camel coats (love this one and this one and this one. I'm also a bit obsessed with all the camo and military inspired jackets this season (this one's my current fave).
Once the temps really dip below freezing, I'll be relying on my favorite puffer jackets to keep me warm in style...good thing these practical coats are having a fashion "moment" right now:)
