Whether you think of it is as a material or a pattern, there's no denying that cane pieces look so chic in the home. First brought into vogue in the 1600's, as a byproduct of the Asian trade markets in Europe, caning later became synonymous with the British Colonial style we know today. The lightweight feel and airy function of these pieces make them perfect during thes hot and humid days of August. Here are a few of my favorite cane finds.
