Style Stalking: Kishani Perera

lamp, vintage photos, flowers, wooden box, vignette
I first came across the beautiful interior design work of Kishani Perera, back in 2007, when InStyle magazine featured actress Molly Sim's amazing apartment. In fact, I loved this so much, that I tracked down Matthew Heller,  the artist responsible for the piece in the photo directly below, and commissioned one for our own home, which you can see here! It's safe to say that for six years now, I've loved everything Ms. Perera designed.  Now, I'm thinking, that in order to stalk this talented lady's work as efficiently as I would like, I'm going to need to add Kishani's chic tome, Vintage Remix to the top of my must have design book list. For now, here are a few of my faves from Kishani's eclectic and vibrant portfolio...

molly sims apartment, matthew heller art, kishani perera interiors
blue and white china bowl, vintage mirror, powder room vignette with sconces, wallpaper
modern nursery, starburst light pendant, built in bookcases and bed
pressed flower art on a grid, round bulbs in a vintage chandelier, kitchen stools
master bath marble double sink, double mirrors, crystal sconces
Gary Panter, industrial chair, parsons desk, modern graphic yellow art

  7. The Matthew Heller piece is awesome! I especially love the grey and white tones, they match perfectly with the furniture. You have to have some talent to be able to successfully pull off a look like that.
