Progress Peeks: Our New House

We've been living here in Connecticut for a little over a year now (fifteen months, I'm counting it out like it's my first born) and predictably the design progress has slowed down quite a bit. The last time I posted a progress peek was mid December. Partly because so many rooms are "done" but also, I can only sustain the design momentum for so long, until real life takes over. I bet you can relate.

Fortunately, there's been enough installations and arrivals to pull together this round up. Our family room is officially DONE - I'm loving the bare window look for now, and have no intention of adding any treatments to them for the foreseeable future. Also done is my closet and it's truly my "dream come true" closet. As soon as I uncover the before photos for this space, I'll write up a full post on it.

The other two rooms featured here, the guest room and Mr. Zhush's office aren't one hundred percent -but feel very comfortable and pretty close to finished as well. #gettingthere

  2. Beautiful. I'm one step behind you, and I'm so tired of it. Momentum is building once again...
